Home Remedies For Corns On Feet

The causes for corns on feet may vary with walking in barefoot, improper shoes, high heels slippers and due to the high pressure added to the feet. And corns are described as one of the types in callus which causes hardening of skin in the particular areas of feet or hands. The corns on feet may cause pricking pain on the feet. Even though there are many treatments available in handing corns on feet like plasters or caps you may use the effective home remedies for corns on feet which are given below.

  1. Onion And Vinegar

Onion and vinegar possess excellent antibacterial properties in it and hence it can be used to treat corns on feet as an effective home remedy. Soak a white onion into a bowl of vinegar for a whole day. Later at night, slice that onion into two slices and place it on the corns by tying using a bandage. In the morning remove the bandage and you feel the goodness of onion and vinegar combination worked well with treating the corns, rub it gently to remove the corns. Repeat it for several times until the corns are removed smoothly.

  1. Baking Soda


Baking soda is considered as one of the best home remedies for corns on feet. Fill a tub with water and add some spoons of baking soda to it. Soak your feet in the water for 15-20 minutes. After that using a pumice stone gently rub the corns to get removed from your feet. If you want you can apply some moisturizers on your feet after treating it with baking soda. Repeat this process for a week.

  1. Vitamin E Oil And Olive Oil

Wash your feet affected with corns in the lukewarm water and pat dry.  And mix some few drops of vitamin E oil and olive oil together and apply it on the feet. Gently massage the oil mixture for some time. Repeat this process regularly at night before going to be and don’t forget to cover your feet after this process at night.
